He specialises in company law and assists and advises companies and their directors.

As a receiver at the Antwerp Commercial Court since 1994, he is also specialised in bankruptcy law.

Jean is also involved in the profession, where he was a member of the council of the Antwerp Bar Association for several years (2005-2008 and 2017-2023) and of the general assembly of the Flemish Bar Association (2012-2014).
